We all know that every living being has a soul. What about non living objects? They also have souls. But a few people know this. In their cycle of births and deaths some of the souls will go and reside in non living object. This depends on the karmic residue they collect in their cycle of birth and deaths
Before residing in a house people conduct poojas. The real purpose of this poojas is to usher in a benign and beneficial soul in to the house.Vastu shastra is a science used by the Indians for this purpose. The soul will give prosperity, health, wealth happiness to the inmates if they are comfortable in the house. Depending on the quality of souls residing the prosperity factor of house varies.
The soul will stay in the house as long as the inmates take proper care of the house. If the house is not maintained properly and allowed to get dilapidated, the soul will leave the house. Then the house becomes dead. The dead house won’t come crashing down immediately. It will remain there and will get slowly dilapidated and will allow undesirable entities to come in to the house. This is how the house gets haunted.
If renovation is done and new poojas are carried out then it is possible to bring in a new soul in to the house. Undesirable entities can also be driven out making house habitable again
