There are three kinds of people in the world
1. People who look for” what is in it for me” before they take any action. They are only concerned with “getting “something for them
2. People who are willing to give to others provided they get equal returns. They are interested in both giving and getting.
3. People who are interested in giving to others without expecting anything in return. They are concerned only with giving and always like to be in the service of others. This is a divine mindset.
Majority of the people, fall under the first two categories. Affirmation works only if you have a giving or divine mindset. That is why it is ineffective for many.
