Every soul comes in to this world with a mission. You select your parents, place of birth, nationality etc even before birth. Soul enters the body of the mother on the 28th day of conception. But on birth you forget your life mission.
Then you are given free will by god to choose whatever you want to do in this world. What you want, why you want and how much you want is your choice. God will not interfere in your choices. You are responsible for your actions and should face the consequences of it. Incidentally the law of Karma takes shape, “As you sow, so shall you reap”
So the general belief by many that God knows their situation and will come with a helping hand to meet their requirement is not correct. You have to tell God your intention or your requirement. How you tell him is your prayer. Since right to make choice is given to you, you will be given only what is asked for and nothing more. You will get your reward, as per your karma.
